What growers ask us.
Pricing, installation, crops, and ROI. The questions that come up on every call, written down here.
Is the yield and water data verified?
The figures come from more than 65 field trials run with commercial growers since 2019, in California, North Carolina and Israel, with university collaborators including UC Davis. Full product-line data decks are available on request.
How is Opti-Harvest equipment priced?
Products can be purchased as capital equipment or structured as operating expense. Lease and rental options exist, and volume discounts apply on larger blocks. An advisor will price your acreage specifically.
What does the return on investment look like?
Across the product line, growers typically see return on investment in about two seasons, driven by earlier production, higher marketable yield and lower water and labor costs.
Can I buy outside the United States?
Yes. Opti-Harvest sells direct worldwide.
Which crops does the technology cover?
Proven applications cover wine, table and raisin grapes, citrus, avocado, almond and pistachio, plus trellised fruit. Trials have also included cherries, blueberries and lychee. If you grow something else, ask; the light physics is not crop-specific.
What are the products made of, and how long do they last?
All products are recyclable HDPE with a 10-year guarantee. They are designed for field conditions: sun, wind, spray equipment and seasonal handling.
Who installs the equipment?
Your crew can. Published installation guides cover Opti-Gro and Opti-Shield, and advisors support first installations on larger blocks.
How do I get the trial data for my crop?
Request the data decks through the contact page or call 833-TRY-OPTI, and we will email the product-line trial data directly.
